Plant Based Pesto Genovese

Ingredients
4 Handfuls Basil Leaves
2 Garlic Cloves
2 Tsp Salt
3 Tbsp Pine Kernels
6 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Method
- Wash and dry the basil leaves
- Peel and finely slice the garlic.
- Using a pestle and mortar, grind the garlic with the salt until creamy. Add the basil and keep grinding until smooth.
- Add the pine kernels and continue grinding until you have pesto. Add the olive oil and adjust the salt to taste.
