Orecchiette with Tenderstem® Broccoli

 

Ingredients
500g Orecchiette Pasta
400g Tenderstem® Broccoli
4 Garlic Cloves
2 Red Chillies (deseeded) 
4 Tbsp Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper

Method

  1. Wash and immerse the tenderstem broccoli in salty hot water for 3 or 4 minutes.
  2. In a sauce pan heat the oil with the garlic and the red chilli. Drain the broccoli saving the water and add to the oil.
  3. Simmer for few minutes add a ladle of the broccoli water seasoning and blend half of the sauce.
  4. Cook the pasta using the saved boiling water to add extra flavour. When the pasta is ready drain and mix well with the sauce.
